HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2008 ANNOUNCED

 

Texas Tennis Hall of Fame Announces the Class of 2008

 

Roland Ingram, Sr., Rhoss “Buddy” Lomax, and Rick Meyers will be inducted October 25, 2008

 

(Waco, Texas)  Three outstanding Texas tennis players make up the 28th class inducted into the Hall of Fame since its founding in 1981.  Roland Ingram, Sr., led the 1991 Texas Christian University Tennis Team to Southwest Conference victory; Rhoss “Buddy” Lomax, represented the United States on four separate occasions as a member of the US Senior Men’s World Cup Team; and Rick Meyers, set the University Interscholastic League record and won the 5A State singles championship 63-0; have been chosen for induction into the Texas Tennis Hall of Fame.  The Induction ceremony will be on October 25, 2008 at the Texas Tennis Museum and Hall of Fame in Waco.

 

  The Induction was a great success and evryone had a wonderful time.

We would like to Thank all of the help from the inductees, their friends and family, and all the service providers that made this year banquet a fantastic evening!
